At Armstrong Investigations, we are huge advocates for the safety that technology can provide for families (i.e. cameras, GPS location sharing, ability to contact family when needed, etc.), however, full access to what today's devices offer is not the safest choice for youth. One alternative option is Bark, who offers software and devices, such as smartphones and watches, for children to begin learning safe technology use in their lives.

National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) offers reporting outlets for suspected online and offline child sexual exploitation. NCMEC also offers NetSmartz, an online safety education program that provides age-appropriate videos and activities to help teach children be safer online with the goal of helping children to become more aware of potential online risks and empowering them to help prevent victimization by making safer choices on- and offline.
